135th Programme:
On December 8, 2014, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with Sowdambika Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thuraiyur,
provided environmental awareness to school students. The school principal
presided over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan conducted awareness programs for
the students on why the environment should be protected, the importance of
environmental conservation, the status of forest resources in India, and what
students can do to increase forest cover.
