864th Programme:
On July 19, 2025, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in collaboration with the
Thuraiyur Tamil Nadu Forest Department and MIT Arts and Science College for
Women, conducted a plastic cleaning drive. Mr. Saravanan, Assistant Conservator
of Forest, participated and delivered a special address. Dr. Naveen Krishnan
organized awareness programs for students about plastic. They collected plastic
waste from Thumbalam Reserve Forest and Thairapampatti Reserve Forest and
handed it over to the Thuraiyur Municipality. Through this, awareness programs
about plastic were also conducted for the public.
