On June 28, 2025, Dr. Naveen Krishnan conducted wildlife protection
awareness programs for the public. In this event, he caught a snake that had
entered a house in Mangalam Puttur village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District, and
handed it over to the forest department. He also provided awareness to the
public on topics such as: What are snakes? How do snakes help in agriculture?
How do snakes play a crucial role in the food chain? And how to identify
venomous and non-venomous snakes?
