70th Programme:
On January 19, 2012, a handicraft training camp
was organized by the Thuraiyur Forest Department for the tribal people of Top
Sengattupatti in Pachamalai, Thuraiyur, through Avinashilingam University. Dr.
Naveen Krishnan participated in this event and provided training to the tribal
people on how to make handicrafts, how to protect natural resources, and how to
use naturally available materials to create handicrafts.
