66th Programme:
On January 2, 2012, Dr. Naveen Krishnan
conducted snake awareness programs for the Thuraiyur Forest Department staff.
Mr. Sengodan, the Forest Ranger, presided over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan
provided detailed training to the forest staff on how to rescue snakes, how to
identify venomous and non-venomous snakes, and the procedures to follow when
releasing rescued snakes back into the forest.
