Today,
23.05.2023, the Global Nature
Foundation and Forest Department of Pondicherry jointly
organized a one-day awareness program about snake rescue and the importance of
snakes for the staff members of Pondicherry Forest Department. In this program,
Dr.Naveen
Krishnan the President of GNF, provided
hands-on training on how to safely catch snakes without disturbing people or
harming the snakes, how to hand them over to the forest department, and how to
release them in their habitat. All staff members learned this clearly.
