Station Thuraiyur jointly organized a Fire Safety Awareness Program for the
public in Thuraiyur. In this program, Dr.Naveen
Krishnan the President of GNF provided general
awareness about how to safely use gas at home, how to safely evacuate during a
fire, how to protect household items, and how to extinguish fires. Fire Service
staff and Turaiyur Fire Station officer Mr. Chandrasekhar demonstrated a live demo
to the public. They showed live demonstrations of how to carry people without
ambulance stretchers in case of sudden accidents. The public benefited from
watching these demonstrations.
