60th Programme:
On December 18, 2011, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with the Thuraiyur Hotel Association, conducted a Global Warming
Awareness program for the public. Mr. Baskar, President of the Thuraiyur Hotel
Association, presided over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan explained what global
warming is, how to prevent it, the connection between the hotel business and
global warming, and how to manage plastic waste generated by hotels. He
provided awareness on these topics to the public.
