57th Programme:
On December 16, 2011, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with the Thuraiyur Electricity Board, celebrated Electricity Saving
Week. Mr. E. Karuppaiya, Division Engineer, presided over the event. Dr. Naveen
Krishnan educated the public about saving electricity and the global warming
caused by excessive electricity consumption. Additionally, an awareness rally
was conducted with a tableau promoting electricity saving, and over a thousand
people participated and benefited from it.
