55th Programme:
On December 14, 2011, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with the Thuraiyur Rotary Club, conducted a Global Warming
Awareness Program. Mr. N. Murali, President of the Thuraiyur Rotary Club,
presided over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan educated the Rotary Club members
about the adverse effects of global warming, the small changes individuals can
make in their daily lives to mitigate it, and the importance of planting trees
to reduce environmental degradation.
