On March 1, 2022, Dr. Naveen Krishnan conducted an environmental awareness program for the public in Thuraiyur by distributing saplings. Ms. Selvarani, Thuraiyur Municipal Chairperson, inaugurated the event and delivered a special address. Dr. Naveen Krishnan provided awareness sessions to the public on how to protect the environment, how planting saplings contributes to environmental protection, and promoted the idea of "let`s grow one tree per home." Additionally, free saplings were distributed to everyone.
