On September 22, 2020, Dr. Naveen Krishnan
provided wildlife protection awareness programs to the public. During this
event, a snake that had entered a house in Thuraiyur, Chithirapatti, was caught
and handed over to the forest department. During that incident, Dr. Naveen
Krishnan delivered awareness sessions to the public on how to protect wildlife,
why snakes that enter homes should not be killed, and the significant role
snakes play in the food chain.
