476th Programme:
On June 24, 2020, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, along with the Thuraiyur Volunteers team, sowed seed balls before the monsoon season. Dr. Naveen Krishnan planted over a thousand seed balls around Thuraiyur Periya Lake and also scattered them along the banks. He also distributed free seed balls to the public and conducted awareness programs. Through these efforts, it became evident that forest formation is easily facilitated.
