466th Programme:
On May 26, 2020, Dr. Naveen Krishnan conducted awareness programs for the public about snakes and wildlife. Mr. Ponnusamy, Thuraiyur Forest Range Officer, inaugurated this event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan rescued a Russell`s Viper that had fallen into a well in Ponnusangampatti village. With the help of the Thuraiyur Forest Department, he used this opportunity to conduct awareness programs for the public about snakes, and the snake was then released into a reserve forest.
