463rd Programme:
On May 19, 2020, Dr. Naveen Krishnan conducted
wildlife awareness programs for the public. Mr. Ponnusamy, Thuraiyur Forest
Range Officer, inaugurated this event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan safely rescued a
Russell`s Viper that had fallen into a well in Chitrapatti, Thuraiyur. He then
handed it over to the forest department and, through them, conducted awareness
programs for the public about snakes.
