38th Programme:
On October 16, 2011, Dr. Naveen Krishnan
organized an awareness program for the public at Hotel Joy, Thuraiyur, focusing
on plastic awareness. The event was presided over by Mr. Sundar, the owner of
Joy Hotel. In this program, Dr. Naveen Krishnan provided awareness sessions to
the public on how plastic usage harms the environment, how much the small lake
in Thuraiyur has been damaged by plastic, and how many disease-causing germs
are spreading because of it.
