36th programme:
On October 11, 2011, Dr. Naveen Krishnan and
Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Thuraiyur, jointly conducted a
Sparrow Conservation awareness program for the school students. The event was
presided over by Ms. Santha, the Headmistress. Dr. Naveen Krishnan provided
awareness sessions to the students on how to make sparrow nest boxes, how to
properly place them, why sparrows should be conserved, their importance, and
environmental education.
