31st Programme:
On September 6, 2011, Dr. Naveen Krishnan and
Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Thuraiyur, jointly conducted an
environmental education awareness program for the school students. The event
was presided over by Ms. Santha, the Headmistress. Dr. Naveen Krishnan provided
awareness sessions to the students on the importance of environmental education
and the role of every woman in protecting the environment. Additionally, the
event concluded with the planting of saplings to
celebrate the occasion.
