30th Programme :
On August 25, 2011, Dr. Naveen Krishnan
inaugurated the Sparrow Conservation Project. Mr. Sengodan, the Thuraiyur
Forest Ranger, presided over this event. During the program, sparrow boxes were
created and distributed free of charge to the public. Awareness sessions were
conducted for the public on how to protect sparrows, the necessity of sparrow
conservation, and how to protect the environment. These sparrow conservation nest
boxes were provided free of cost.
