300th Programme:
On November 1, 2018, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with the Government Higher Secondary School in Karattampatti,
conducted an awareness program for students on how to celebrate an eco-friendly
Diwali. Mr. Thyagarajan, the NSS Coordinator, presided over the event and
delivered a special address. Dr. Naveen Krishnan provided awareness sessions to
students on what an eco-friendly Diwali means, how to celebrate Diwali without
harming the environment and wildlife, and how to have a smoke-free Diwali.
Additionally, eco-friendly Diwali awareness boards were placed
throughout the villages.
