283rd Programme:
On July 31, 2018, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with the Botany and Zoology Departments of Vivekananda College
for Women, Tiruchengode, conducted a Global Warming Awareness Program. Dr.
Poorani, HOD, inaugurated the event and delivered a special address. Dr. Naveen
Krishnan provided awareness sessions to students on what global warming is,
ocean depletion, how holes in the ozone layer are formed, the role of humans in
this, and the efforts each individual can take to
reduce global warming.
