280th Programme:
On July 21, 2018, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in collaboration
with Thuraiyur Ragavendra Matriculation Higher Secondary School, celebrated
Snake Day. Mr. Dinesh, the school principal, presided over the event. Dr.
Naveen Krishnan provided awareness sessions to students, explaining why snakes
should be protected, the relationship between wildlife and humans, how to
identify venomous and non-venomous snakes, and what first aid to administer in
case of a snake bite.
