269th Programme:
On March 27, 2018, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with Karattampatti Ragavendra Matriculation Higher Secondary
School, celebrated Sparrow Day. The school headmaster, Mr. Dinesh, presided
over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan provided a practical demonstration and
awareness session to students on why Sparrow Day is celebrated, why sparrows
should be protected, their importance as nature indicators, and how to make
nest boxes, thus celebrating Sparrow Day.
