268th Programme:
On March 23, 2018, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with the Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal,
conducted a one-day Snake Bite Awareness training in villages. Dr. Rajendran,
Assistant Professor, presided over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan provided
awareness sessions to college students and the public on "Snake Bites and
First Aid," identifying venomous and non-venomous snakes, what first aid
to administer if bitten by a snake, and emphasizing that snakes are friends of
nature and farmers.
