266th Programme:
On March 21, 2018, World Forest Day was
celebrated with students in collaboration with Thuraiyur Ragavendra
Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Ms. Jayapriya, the school Chairperson,
presided over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan provided awareness sessions to
students on why World Forest Day is celebrated, the extent of forest cover in
India, what we should do to increase it, and the importance of every student
participating in these efforts.
