211th Programme:
On March 12, 2016, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with Jamal Mohamed College, Trichy, conducted an awareness
program in Kannanur, Thuraiyur, to prevent open defecation. Dr. Hakeem,
Assistant Professor, presided over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan elaborately
explained to the public and college students about the environmental
degradation and diseases caused by open defecation. Additionally, an awareness
program on how to protect nature was also
conducted for the public.
