169th Programme:
On August 30, 2015, Dr. Naveen Krishnan took the
students of Thuraiyur Student Science Club on an industrial visit to SJLT
Spinning Mill in Thathangarpettai. During this event, Dr. Naveen Krishnan
conducted an awareness program for the students with field training, explaining
how yarns are produced in the spinning mill, how they procure yarns from
farmers, how they grade them, and how they use naturally dyed threads
without chemicals.
