13th Programme :
On January 25, 2011, Dr. Naveen Krishnan
conducted a one-day training session for students at Thuraiyur Sengunthar
Higher Secondary School about the Parthenium weed. Mr. J. Black Solomon, the
Headmaster, presided over this event. During the session, Dr. Naveen clearly
explained how Parthenium harms the environment and the dangers it poses to
animals. Additionally, Parthenium weeds in the surrounding areas were
uprooted and destroyed.
