114th Programme:
On June 5, 2014, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, Imayam
Agriculture College Kannanur, Thuraiyur, and the Thuraiyur Regional Transport
Office jointly celebrated Environmental Day. Mr. Andy, Chairman of Imayam
Agriculture College, presided over the event. Dr. Naveen Krishnan conducted awareness
programs for students and the public on why Environmental Day is celebrated and
its benefits to people. Additionally, more than a hundred saplings were planted
throughout the Thuraiyur Regional Transport Office premises, and free saplings
were distributed to the public and students.
