103rd Programme:
On December 15, 2013, Dr. Naveen Krishnan, in
collaboration with Thanthai Hans Roever Agricultural College and Research
Institute, Perambalur, conducted sparrow conservation awareness programs for
students. Dr. Anand, Assistant Professor, inaugurated the event. Dr. Naveen
Krishnan explained why sparrows should be conserved and how to make sparrow
boxes. He also took the students to a place where sparrow boxes were already
installed, providing direct field training and awareness about
their lifestyle.
