69th Programme:
On January 6, 2012, Dr. Naveen Krishnan conducted a global warming awareness rally in Thuraiyur. The event was organized and presided over by Assistant Conservator of Forests, M. Pichai. Dr. Naveen Krishnan invited students from all schools and colleges, as well as members of various organizations in Turaiyur, and together with over 5,000 members of the public and students, conducted a global warming awareness rally throughout the city of Turaiyur. More than 50,000 global warming awareness notices were distributed at this event.
